Message: High Steel Prices???? What????. They do not play games and add surcharges on their orders. The price they tell you is the price you pay. On a recent project, the steel cost at Alro in downtown Dayton was $10, but the surcharges pushed the order total over $120. Went to Dayton a Mills and paid $12. 68 including tax! Service was outstanding.. My problem in describing Dayton Mills is figuring out what they are. They are an old flour mill that sells steel, drywall, pet food, birdfeeders and a tiny bit of hardware. Not sure what to call them other than a place that I plan on going back to.
