Message: We have a 92 year old tudor cottswald in Oakwood and have been committed to maintaining it and restoring it using original hardware and woodwork where practical.. Over the course of 6 years we have been working our way through over 70 steel casement windows with single pane leaded glass. Dayton Art Glass has done outstanding work for us, developing a solution and repeating it in batches as we've moved from room to room. Using modern glazing compounds, seals, and coatings, they have allowed us to cost-effectively restore the windows. Now they function and are more resilient to the vagaries of time and weather. The windows are beautiful, one of the distinctive features of our house. We are grateful to the craftspeople at Dayton Art Glass for saving our windows.. Our last batch of windows will be done soon and we can't wait.
